UTrackIT Vehicle tracking units operate off 12V and 24V vehicle power, and include an internal rechargeable battery to protect against power being cut. An ultra long-life and ultra-small tracking unit for portable applications. Weighing under 100 grams and small enough to slip into almost any space this unit tracks like a normal GPS-based tracking system. Data Transmission ('fix' interval) can be from 1 minute to 5 minutes apart depending on the battery life required. Typically a 1 minute fix interval would give 18 hours tracking; a 5 minute fix interval approximately 48 hours.

MobiTrack Extreme units feature an E-Mode as standard. Should the E-Mode button be pressed the units immediately transmits an emergency signal to the UTrackIT servers. This signal will be relayed to the E-Mode contact registered to the unit. In addition to the E-Mode message, the unit will remain on after the button has been pressed until a GPS Position fix is acquired, and transmitted.
